Please be advised that the Central Bank Board of Directors has resolved, per item (7) of resolution No. 84/3/2001, taken in its meeting on 15/4/2001, the following:-
To exempt facilities covered and/or secured by cash collateral from unclassified credit portfolio while calculating general provisions as per Central Bank Notice No. 1192/98 of 28/12/1998. Accordingly, there is no need to form general provisions for credit facilities which are fully covered and/or secured by cash collateral.
