Electronically submit the application on the system, by user name and password. In the event that the user is new he shall send an email letter requesting a user name and password
Complete the service form and upload it along with the documents in the electronic system
The completed application is reviewed and approved
The technical staff (key employees) shall be interviewed in the Authority’s headquarters
Pay the fees through e-services or through a smartphone application. In case the applicant is applying in person: Payment can be made through the electronic screen at the Customer Service Center in the Authority; and in case of a system breakdown: Payment can be made by e-Dirham or credit card at the Authority
The customer prints the Registration Certificate

Fee for the registration of a health insurance TPA company:  AED 7,000 once at the time of the extract printout

Attachments Required

1. True copy of the company’s duly certified memorandum of association and articles of association
2. The capital of the company may be at least five million Dirhams
3. The company must have been practiced the business for at least two years, if it is a branch of a foreign company
4. A statement of the names of founders or partners and their selected addresses for service and the posts they occupy and their academic qualifications and practical experience
5. The action plan for the first three fiscal years, including a description of the services and facilities to be provided by the future plans for the business development
6. Copies of specimen agreements signed by the health insurance TPA Company with insurance companies and providers of medical services
7. A declaration that the company's goals and objectives shall be limited to health insurance TPA business and not to sell or market f health insurance policies, and not to deal with or conclude agreements with insurance companies not licensed to operate in the UAE
8. An insurance policy covering the professional liability risks in the amount of three million Dirhams provided that the deductible amount may not be more than a hundred thousand Dirhams
9. The company must have a key specialized employee with practical experience in health insurance for a period of no less than three years
10. The company must have a contract with at least one doctor to examine treatment cases and must be licensed by the competent authorities
11. Provide the Authority with a confirmation stating that the company’s accounts are separated from the account of funds earned from its health insurance TPA activities
