Study Licencing National or GCC Insurance Company

A process in which an application for studying the license of a national, Gulf, foreign or Takaful insurance company is submitted

Submit the application electronically to the electronic system, by using the user name and password - in the event that the new user sends an email requesting the user name and password
Payment of fees through electronic services or via the smartphone application, and in the case of personal attendance: Payment is made through the electronic screen at the Customer Service Center in the Authority, and in the event of system breakdown: Payment is made by the e-dirham card or credit card
Fill out the service form and upload it with the documents in the electronic system
Application approval complete
The customer receives the result of the study request through the customer's preferred method

 

Service Fees:

Study fee for an insurance company licensing application: AED 10,000 once upon extraction

Submit the application electronically
Pay the service fee

 

Attachments Required:

  1. A license application using the form approved by the Board to be submitted to the Authority by the Founders Committee of the insurance company
  2. A true copy of the company’s Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association authenticated by the competent authorities
  3. The economic feasibility study and the company's business plan
  4. A certificate from an Actuary in the case of personal insurance and fund accumulation operations including: his approval on the basis of calculating the insurance premiums, adequacy of technical provisions, the possibility of compliance with the solvency margin and the minimum guarantee amount
  5. Declaration by the Founders Committee that no one of the company founders was sentenced in a crime involving moral turpitude, nor was declared bankrupt
  6. Declaration by the Founders Committee that all the statements and documents submitted to the Authority to obtain a license are true and correct
